We are located at 43-A in the Sipcot Industrial Complex Phase I. If you know the area, you know it is mostly factories and big trucks moving in and out all day long. The air usually smells like metal and oil over here. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we handle all the metal systems and components. Inside, it can get pretty loud when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We have a small crew of people who have been around for years. They just show up, do their shift, and head home. The floor is always covered in scraps and bits of steel that we have to sweep up at the end of the day. It gets really warm in the summer months because of the heavy roofs, but we keep the fans going as much as we can. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in the complex, we just want to get through the orders we have on time. Most of the people who come by are truck drivers or guys from other shops nearby. We drink a lot of tea while we look over the plans for the day. It’s just a regular industrial job, really. We stay busy enough to keep the lights on and everyone paid. That is about all there is to it over here in Sipcot.
