We are situated at Plot No.2 on 8th Avenue in Mahindra World City. This is out in the Anjur-Icchankaranai Taluk area, which is a bit of a distance from the main city traffic. Heat And Control (South Asia) has a fairly large setup here to accommodate all the equipment we work with. The industrial park is quite organized but it feels a bit isolated sometimes. Most of us commute a long way to get to the site every day. The work involves a lot of heavy machinery and technical parts, so the floor is always a bit of a hive of activity. It gets quite warm in the shed during the summer months, but we are used to that by now. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive office furniture. Our focus is mainly on the assembly lines and the workshop area where the real work happens. Sometimes things don't go according to the plan and we have to spend extra hours fixing a mechanical issue or rechecking a shipment. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just arrive, put on our gear, and start the day's tasks. The 1st Cross Road is our main landmark for anyone trying to find the gate. It is a practical environment for people who like to work with their hands and solve technical problems without any unnecessary corporate layers getting in the way.
