Harima Foods

We are Harima Foods, located at No.1/340 in Jyothi Nagar. That’s right off Kovalam Road in Kelambakkam. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the city center. We handle various food items here. The building isn't anything special, just a place where we get the work done. Some days the kitchen area is very busy and smells like whatever we are processing. We have a small staff who have been with us for a while. We don't use a lot of big words to describe ourselves. We just pack food and ship it out. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to wait for the repair guy to show up from the city. That's always a slow day. We have a lot of crates stacked up in the corner. The yard outside gets muddy when it rains. We spend our time checking labels and making sure the boxes are taped shut properly. It’s not glamorous work, but it keeps us busy. We have a small break room where we eat lunch together. Most of us live nearby in Kelambakkam or the surrounding area. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years. We just keep doing what we do at Jyothi Nagar. It’s a steady pace most of the time. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. We just have our food and our daily routine. It’s honest work and we like it that way.
