Dgm Food Products

Our place is located over at No. 100 on Pillaiyar Koil Street. If you know the Kayarambedu area, you probably know where the post office is. We aren't too far from there. Dgm Food Products is mostly a family-run thing, and we’ve been working out of this spot in Guduvancherry for years. The building is a bit old now, and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it serves its purpose for making food products. It gets quite loud when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We don't have a big office or anything. Most of the space is taken up by crates and bags of raw materials. Pandur is a quiet place otherwise. We spend our days checking the batches and making sure everything is packed up properly before the trucks arrive. It’s hard work, and my back usually aches by five o'clock. We don't do much advertising because most people around here already know us. Sometimes we have tea breaks under the tree outside when it's not too hot. We just try to keep things moving and make sure things are made the right way. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We’ve had some tough months, especially when the rains get heavy on Pillaiyar Koil Street, but we stay open and keep the production going as much as we can even when things get stressful.
