Sri Sai Krishna Granites

We’ve been here on Tippu Sultan Road for a while now. Most people around Devanahalli know the spot. Sri Sai Krishna Granites isn't a fancy showroom or anything. It’s just where we keep the stone slabs and get the work done. Usually, the yard is pretty busy with deliveries coming in or people stopping by to look at colors. Dealing with granite is heavy work and it gets dusty out here. We mostly just focus on getting the pieces cut right and loaded onto the trucks without too much fuss. It is a family thing, more or less. My brother and I handle most of the daily stuff. You’ll see us moving things around with the crane if you drive by. People come here when they are building a house or fixing up a kitchen counter. We don’t do big ads. Mostly it’s just neighbors telling each other where to find us. The stock changes depending on what we can get from the quarries. Sometimes we have more grey, sometimes more black stone. It depends on the week. We try to keep things organized but it’s a stone yard, so it’s always a bit messy. That is just how it goes with this kind of material. If you need to see what we have, you just walk in. We stay open until the sun goes down usually. It’s practical work. We like staying busy and keeping the yard moving. Sometimes the trucks are late and we have to wait around, but we just use that time to tidy up the slabs.
