K S Granites

K S Granites is out on B.H. Road in Nelamangala. If you know that road, you know it’s one of the main ways people move around here. We are at 20/8/541, and there is always a layer of dust on everything because of the traffic. We spend a lot of our time just washing the stones so they look decent when people come to look. Granite is tough, but it can still chip if the loaders aren't paying attention. I’ve been working here long enough to know which slabs are going to be popular and which ones will sit in the back for a year. Nelamangala has changed a lot, but the need for good stone hasn't. People come from the nearby villages and even from the city to see what we have. It’s a lot of standing around and talking about square footage and thickness. We don't have a lot of fancy talk for people, we just show them the price and the stone. Sometimes we have to cut the pieces down to size, and that makes a lot of noise and even more dust. We just wear our masks and get on with it. By the time we close up, the B.H. Road traffic is usually at its worst. It’s just a normal day of moving heavy things for us, nothing more than that.
