Harindra Associates

Harindra Associates is located out in Kembaliganahalli, which is part of Hoskote Taluk in the Bangalore Rural district. We share space with K C Manjunath, an advocate, at number 155. It’s a bit of a journey to get out here if you are coming from the main city, but it’s a lot more peaceful once you arrive. The office is surrounded by a lot more green than you’d see in Bangalore proper. We spend our days dealing with a lot of legal paperwork and local matters. The office itself is quite traditional. There are stacks of law books everywhere and many folders tied with red string. It feels like a place where things are taken seriously, but without any pretension. We don't have an air conditioner, just a large ceiling fan that keeps the air moving. On rainy days, you can hear the water hitting the roof quite clearly. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We usually start our day early to avoid the worst of the heat and finish up when the sun starts to go down. Most of the people we help are from the surrounding villages and small towns. They appreciate that we are easy to talk to and don't use a lot of complicated words. We just sit across the desk and go through the documents together until everything is clear. It's a steady way to work and helps people get through their legal tasks without any extra stress.
