About Nandini Fly Ash Industries – Building & Construction Material in Chandrapur
The plot at B-28 is where we spend most of our time. Being in the MIDC area means there is always noise from other factories and trucks rumbling down Ghuggas Road. Fly ash is a bit different to work with than the old-fashioned red clay. It’s a lot cleaner in some ways but the dust is very fine and gets into everything if you aren't careful. We have our machines set up to press the bricks out, and it’s a steady rhythm once you get going. My clothes are usually grey by the end of the shift. We get orders from people building all sorts of things around here. It’s not just big projects; sometimes it’s just someone needing a few hundred for a shed. The yard can get a bit cluttered when we have a big batch drying out. We don’t have a big office or anything, just a small space to keep the paperwork and take a break. Most of the guys here live nearby so we all know each other well. We just try to keep the machines running and the bricks moving out to the sites. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we even have to work Sundays if there’s a big delivery scheduled for Monday morning. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to make the materials for all the new buildings going up around the city.
