Abhishek Enterprises Cement

Our place, Abhishek Enterprises Cement, is located in Abhishek Plaza on Mul Rd. We are right there in Cement Nagar, which is a fitting name for what we do. Being near Axis Bank helps people find us without too much trouble. Handling cement is heavy work. Every day involves moving bags that weigh a lot, and by the end of it, everything is covered in a fine grey dust. We wear old clothes because there’s no point in trying to stay clean here. The shop is basically a big storage space with a small area for us to sit and handle the paperwork. Mul Rd gets a lot of heavy vehicles, so it can get pretty loud. We deal with builders and people just fixing up their own houses. We don't have a big marketing team or a shiny showroom. It's just a warehouse style setup where we stack the bags and wait for the trucks to arrive. Sometimes the humidity makes the cement clumpy if we aren't careful, so we have to keep an eye on how we stack things. We’ve been in Cement Nagar for a while and the people around here are mostly working-class folks like us. It’s a lot of physical labor, but it keeps us busy. We just try to keep enough stock so nobody has to wait too long. When the trucks are late, we just sit and chat. It’s not a complicated life, but the work is steady and it keeps the lights on.
