Harsh Brick Udyog is located in Mukkam village, right by the post office. We are in the Nagbhid tehsil of the Chandrapur district. If you are looking for us, we are quite near the Gramin Bank, which is a major landmark for everyone in this area. Making bricks in a village like Mukkam means we are very connected to the local rhythm of life. When the sun is hot, we are out there working the clay, and when the monsoon comes, we have to protect our stacks from the heavy rains. Chandrapur can be a very hot place, so our work day usually starts very early in the morning before the heat gets too bad. We aren't some large industrial corporation. We are just a local outfit that employs people from the surrounding villages. Our office is just a small room where we keep our books and talk to customers. There’s no marketing department here. We just rely on the quality of the bricks we fire in our kilns. Builders and farmers from all over Nagbhid come to us because they know where we are and what we do. It’s a messy, dusty job, but it’s honest work. We spend most of our time checking the firing process and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly.
