Zakaria The Unisex Salon

I opened Zakaria The Unisex Salon over in Sector 11, specifically at SCO 17. It’s a decent spot where both men and women can come in to get their hair handled. Being in an SCO means there’s always people moving around outside, which is nice. I’ve got a couple of people working with me. We handle haircuts, some coloring, and the usual stuff you’d expect. It isn't a huge space, but we made it work with the chairs and the stations we have set up. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the hair dryers are all going at once and people are trying to talk over them. We don’t really do all that fancy marketing stuff you see online. Most people find out about us just by walking past or hearing from a neighbor who lives in the sector. I try to keep things organized, but on busy Saturdays, there’s hair on the floor faster than we can sweep it up. We use the regular products you find in the market. Nothing too crazy. I spend a lot of time checking the appointments and making sure everyone has a seat. It’s a lot of work running a place for both guys and ladies because everyone wants something different. But we’ve been here for a bit now and the routine is set. We just open up, do the haircuts, and go home. It’s a steady life and we know the regulars who come in every month. We don't need any more than that.
