My name is sphurti mukherji and I’ve got a small setup on the first floor of House Number 2843 in Sector 22C, Cahndigarh. It’s a nice area with lots of trees, but the stairs up to the office can be a bit steep if you aren’t used to them. I spend most of my time here, surrounded by books and papers. It isn’t a corporate environment at all. There are usually tea cups on the table and maybe a stray sweater over a chair. I like it that way because it feels more like a home than a workplace. I started this because I wanted to work on my own terms without someone always looking over my shoulder. Cahndigarh is a planned city, but my office feels a bit more spontaneous and cluttered. I handle the projects as they come in. Some weeks I am working late into the night, and other weeks it is a bit slower. I don't have any fancy signs or a set of rules printed on the wall. I just try to be helpful and do what I said I would do. It’s a simple way of living. My neighbors in Sector 22C are mostly families, so it stays relatively quiet during the day. I’m just a local person trying to keep things going. It’s not a big operation, but it is mine and I am glad for that.
