You Like Hair Saloon

Booth Number-112 is where you will find us. We are right in the Main Booth Market of Sector 22D in Chandigarh. It is a very active part of the city. The petrol pump in Sector 22C is just nearby, so that is a good way to find the turn into our street. This market is always crowded with people looking for one thing or another. Our shop is one of many in the row. It is a small booth, but we have made the most of the space we have. I have been working here for a while and I know most of the other shopkeepers around us. We all look out for each other. When it rains, the water splashes up off the pavement, and when it is hot, the fans are always running. The name on the sign says You Like Hair Saloon because we want people to walk out happy with how they look. We do haircuts and shaves mainly. Nothing too complicated. Most of the regulars come from the houses around Sector 22. They stop in on their way to the market or after their work shift ends. I like being in 22D because there is always something happening right outside the door. You see all sorts of people walking by. We just keep the chairs ready and the floor clean. It is an honest day of work in a busy part of Chandigarh.
