Our office is located on Cathedral Road, which is one of those parts of town that everyone knows. It’s a busy stretch, and we are right there at number 26. The building has been here for a while, and it feels quite established. When you walk in, it’s a bit more traditional than some of the newer glass buildings you see popping up elsewhere. We have a good amount of space to move around in. Most of the day is spent handling different requests and keeping the paperwork moving. Since it’s Xerox Modicorp, people expect us to have a lot of machines around, and we definitely do. There is always something being printed or scanned or worked on. It’s not a silent office by any means. There’s a constant hum of equipment in the background. The staff here is a mix of people who have been with the company for decades and some newer faces. We don’t really do the whole modern startup thing with bean bags or game rooms. We just have our desks and our work. We take our breaks when we can, maybe heading out to get a snack from one of the nearby shops. It’s a straightforward environment. We come in, do the work that needs to be done, and head home. It might sound a bit boring to some, but it’s a steady way to earn a living and we have a good group of people here who know their jobs well.
