White Palace Hotel

You can find White Palace Hotel at 143 Sector 28, near Mandvi Circle and Kaka Saheb Balg. It’s a familiar spot for people who know Chandigarh well. We’ve been operating out of this building for a long time. The area around Mandvi Circle is always moving, so there is plenty to see from the windows. The hotel itself is pretty straightforward. We have the guest rooms, a small area for breakfast, and a front desk that is usually covered in papers and keys. We don't have fancy uniforms or a lobby that looks like a museum. It’s just a place where you can stay. The walls might need a bit of paint here and there, and the elevator sometimes takes its time, but it works. We’re just local people working here, trying to make sure everyone who checks in has what they need. We spend our shifts checking people in, showing them where the stairs are, and suggesting places nearby to grab a bite. It’s not a complicated business. We just try to be honest about what we have. If a lightbulb goes out, we change it. If a guest needs an extra towel, we find one. It’s a lot of small tasks that fill up the day. We like the neighborhood and the people who come through our doors, so we just keep at it.
