Maya Hotel

Maya Hotel is right on Himalaya Marg at SCO 325/328. It’s a busy street and there is always something going on outside. We spend a lot of our time making sure the rooms are ready for whoever is checking in next. It’s a job that never really stops because people come and go at all hours. We aren't one of those massive chain hotels with hundreds of staff. It’s more of a local operation where you’ll probably see the same faces every day. The building is a typical SCO structure, which means we have to make the most of the space we have. We try to keep things clean and functional for travelers. Most people stay with us because they have work nearby or they’re just passing through Chandigarh. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just the basics that a person needs when they’re away from home. Sometimes the traffic outside can be loud, but that’s just life in this part of the city. We’ve been here for a bit now and we know the area well. If you need a place to sleep and a shower, that’s what we provide. We don’t overcomplicate things. It’s just a hotel run by regular people who live around here. We handle the bookings ourselves and try to keep things moving. It gets hectic during the wedding season, but we manage somehow. We are just a simple place for people to stay.
