Vivekananda Institute

We are located in Sector 22, right in the SCO 226-227 building. If you know the area, it’s pretty central and easy to get to. We have been running classes here for a good amount of time now. The rooms are filled with desks and we’ve got all the usual stuff you’d expect in a place like this. Most of our students are locals who come in after their regular school or college hours. It’s a busy part of the sector, so there’s always something going on outside, but we try to keep it quiet enough inside for people to learn. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk up the stairs, find your room, and get to work. The daily schedule is usually pretty packed with different groups coming in and out. We spend a lot of time talking through subjects and helping people figure out things they missed in class elsewhere. It’s a simple setup, really. Just some teachers, some students, and a lot of notebooks. We see people from all walks of life who are just trying to learn something new or get a bit better at a specific subject. It can get a bit tiring when the days are long, but seeing someone finally understand a tough concept makes it worth it. We are just here every day, opening up the doors and getting the classrooms ready for whoever shows up.
