Vishu Video Palace

Vishu Video Palace has been a part of Nityanand Society on Laxmikant Road for a long time. Our address is 145 in Sector- 22, and it’s a spot most people in the neighborhood know by now. I started this place when video was a bigger thing, and we’ve just kept going even as things changed. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside because we have so much stuff piled up. We have shelves full of things and some old equipment that I just can’t bring myself to throw away yet. The shop is on a corner of Laxmikant Road, so it gets a fair amount of foot traffic in the evenings. Most of the time it’s just me behind the counter, maybe listening to the radio or talking to a neighbor who stopped by to escape the sun. It's not the most modern looking place, but it's comfortable and we know our way around the equipment. Sometimes the kids from the society come in looking for specific cables or just to see what’s new. I try to keep the place organized, but with so many small items, it’s a constant struggle. We’ve had the same sign out front for years and it’s starting to fade a bit, but everyone knows it's us. If you’re looking for 145, just look for the place with the posters in the window. It’s a simple life running a shop here and I wouldn't change it for a desk job.
