Victoria Hotel

Our Victoria Hotel is located in Sector 42, which is one of the quieter parts of Chandigarh compared to the city center. We aren’t one of those big, flashy hotels you see in the papers. It’s a simple building where we try to make people feel okay while they’re away from home. We have a small team here, and we all end up doing a bit of everything, from checking the laundry to helping guests with their bags. Sector 42 has a nice feel to it, and we like being part of the neighborhood. We know the shopkeepers nearby and where to get the best supplies. Most of our guests are here for work or visiting relatives nearby. We don’t have a fancy lobby with marble floors; it’s just a place to sit and wait. We spend a lot of our time making sure the rooms are tidy and the water heaters are working properly. Sometimes things break, and we have to call the plumber from down the street, but we get it sorted. It’s a practical way to run a business. We don’t use big words or try to act like we’re something we aren’t. We just provide a room and a key. It’s steady work, and we’ve gotten to know the rhythm of the sector over the years.
