Trend Gift & Jewel

Trend Gift & Jewel is over at 418/407 Cypress Vasant Garden in Sector 44. It’s a nice little spot nestled in the garden area. We have a mix of jewelry and gift items, which is why we have the name we do. We don't sell the super expensive kind of jewelry, mostly just things people like to wear every day or give as a nice little surprise. The shop has a lot of glass cases, and I spend a lot of my time cleaning fingerprints off them. Vasant Garden is a pretty quiet neighborhood, so we don't get the huge crowds you see in the main markets. That suits us just fine. We have time to talk to whoever walks in. We’ve been in Sector 44 for a while and have seen the trees in the garden grow quite a bit. The shop is small and can get a little warm in the afternoons, but we keep a fan going. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in town. We just like having a collection of things that people find pretty. Most of our stock comes from people we've known for years. We don't have a corporate strategy or anything like that. We just open up, tidy the shelves, and wait for our neighbors to stop by and say hello. It is a simple way to spend the day.
