We are the local office for The Times Of India here in Dehradun. Our location is 137/1 in Rajendra Nagar. We are based C/O M.G.Bansal. It is a bit of a residential setup, which makes it feel very local and friendly. Rajendra Nagar is a nice part of Dehradun with a lot of history. Being at 137/1 means we are right in the middle of a regular neighborhood. We have desks piled high with newspapers and notebooks. It is a busy place, especially when there is a lot of news to cover. M.G.Bansal's place is where we gather to talk about the stories of the day. We don't have a big glass front or a fancy lobby. It is just a door and some stairs. Dehradun weather can be quite unpredictable, so we often have umbrellas drying by the entrance. We drink a lot of tea and coffee while we work. The sound of the street outside is always there. We like it that way because it keeps us connected to the city. People know they can find us at Rajendra Nagar if they have something to share. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just work on the paper and try to keep up with everything. It is a practical, no-nonsense office. 137/1 is a good spot for us. We have been part of this community for quite a while now.
