Our office is located at 43, Old Mirch Mandi in Rajpura. If you know the area, you know it’s a place with a lot of history and a lot of daily hustle. We’ve been operating out of this Punjab location for quite some time. It’s not the kind of glass building you see in big cities. Instead, we are right here in the middle of the old market area. Dealing with the daily traffic and the noise of the mandi is just part of our routine. At Deutsche Bank Operations International, we just get on with things. The building itself is sturdy and has seen many seasons. We have a few rooms filled with desks and papers. People come in early, grab their tea, and start their work. There is no big sign or flashing lights outside. We prefer to keep it low-key. Rajpura is a good town for us because it’s connected well, but it still feels like a small community. Sometimes the heat in the summer gets to be a bit much, but we have the fans going and we manage. It’s a very grounded way of working. We don’t talk about big goals or fancy strategies in the hallway. Usually, we just talk about who is bringing lunch or what needs to be finished by five o'clock. It’s a very human way to spend a workday in a place like Mirch Mandi. We just keep things moving along.
