Our place is over on 7th Cross in Zirakpur, at number 15. It's a busy little corner. We've been here long enough that the paint on the sign is starting to fade a little, but everyone knows where we are. Dealing with the traffic on the main road can be a headache, but once you turn onto the cross, it's a bit better. We spend a lot of our time just prepping things and making sure everything is ready for the day. It’s not a large operation. Just a couple of rooms and a small kitchen area. The sink leaks occasionally if you turn the handle too far, so we have to be careful with that. My brother usually handles the deliveries if the weather isn't too bad. We get a lot of locals coming in, people who live just a few blocks away. They don't want anything complicated, just what they're used to. We don't bother with fancy uniforms or anything like that. I usually just wear my old work shirt. There’s a stray dog that hangs out near the entrance sometimes, we call him Sheru. He doesn't bother anyone and mostly just sleeps in the shade. It’s just how things are here. We don't have a website or anything, just the shop. If the phone rings, we answer it. If someone walks in, we help them. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day. We’re just happy to be part of the neighborhood. The afternoon sun hits the front window pretty hard.
