Our office is at 1480-B in Sector-61, which is a decent part of Chandigarh. It’s easy to find if you know the sector layout. We have a lot of people coming in and out because we deal with jobs and staffing. The phones are almost always ringing and there is a lot of chatter from the recruiters talking to people on the line. It’s a simple setup with rows of desks and people wearing headsets. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just some chairs for people to wait in. The air conditioning is usually running full blast because it gets so hot outside during the day. We spend most of our time looking through lists of names and matching them with what companies need. It’s a lot of data entry and phone calls. Sometimes the printers jam when we have too much to print out, which is a bit of a headache. We all take turns going out for snacks or coffee in the afternoon to get a break from the screens. It’s a fast-paced environment but we try to keep it relaxed. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we know how to help each other out when it gets busy. We’re just a regular service office doing what we do every day. Sector-61 is a good spot for us because it's central enough for people to reach without too much trouble.
