If you head up to the first floor of Scf 70 in Phase 7, that is where you will find us. We have been in this part of Mohali for a long time. The stairs can be a bit steep if you are carrying heavy shopping bags, but it usually gets nice and quiet once you get inside. From the windows, you can look out at the rest of Phase 7 and see how busy the Chandigarh area gets during the rush hour. We started Sunrise Hair & Beauty Saloon because we just wanted a place where we could work for ourselves. Most days are pretty standard. We show up, turn on the lights, and wait for the first person to knock on the door. It is not a very big space, but we have enough chairs for everyone to sit. Sometimes the tea guy comes around in the afternoon and we take a five-minute break. The walls are a bit plain and we probably should think about painting them again soon, but for now, they are fine. People come in for all sorts of things, maybe a quick trim or something for a wedding happening nearby. We do not really do the whole corporate thing with fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just wear what we have in the closet. It is mostly just us talking to the customers about their day or what is happening in the news.
