We are located over at C 147 in the Mohali Industrial Area, Phase VII. It’s a large block and we have been here since the area felt a lot emptier than it does now. The machines running is the main sound you hear all day. We do a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff around the floor. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a nice suit. Most of us are in old clothes that we don’t mind getting stained. The office is just a small partitioned area in the corner where the phone rings occasionally. We have a big metal door that stays open to let the breeze in, otherwise, it gets too stuffy. Sometimes the power goes out and everything goes quiet for a bit, which is a strange feeling. We use that time to tidy up the benches. There’s a lot of metal scraps that need to be cleared out every couple of days. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby. People usually just walk straight into the work area to find us. It’s a practical setup. We have a tea break at four, and that’s usually when we sit on the crates outside for a breather. It’s just a steady grind of making things and shipping them out. That’s our day. We like the honesty of the work and the friends we've made in the neighboring units.
