Bharat Motor Stores is right in the middle of the New Motor Market in Manimajra at SCO 402. If you’ve ever been to this market, you know it’s a very busy place with lots of noise, horns honking, and the smell of grease everywhere. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of motor parts. We have everything from tiny gaskets to large engine blocks crammed onto our shelves. It’s a hectic way to work because someone is always coming in with a broken part in their hand, asking if we have a replacement. We spend our day climbing up and down ladders to get things from the high shelves. We have a lot of regular mechanics who stop by every single day, so we usually have a pot of tea going in the back. It’s a very grounded type of business. There’s no air conditioning and no fancy furniture, just metal counters and a lot of heavy inventory. We just focus on knowing our stock well so we can help people get their trucks and cars back on the road. It’s a tough environment, especially in the peak of summer, but we like being right in the thick of the motor market action where all the real work happens. We've been at this same spot for a good while now.
