Sundarams

Sundarams is tucked away in the Hotel Aroma Complex over in Sector 22. If you know Chandigarh, you know how Sector 22 gets on the weekends. It is always crowded and there is a lot of energy around Himalaya Marg. We have been serving food here for quite some time. It is a small team running things. Most of us have been here for years, so we know the faces of the people who stop by for lunch or a quick dinner. Sector 22-C has a lot of shops, so people usually come in after they are done with their shopping. The complex itself is quite a landmark in this part of town. We don’t go for anything over the top with the decor. The chairs are simple and the tables are close together. You can hear the chatter from the next table, but that’s just how it is. It gets a bit hectic during the afternoon rush, especially when the office crowd comes in. We try to keep up with the orders as fast as we can. It’s just honest work. We spend our days making sure the kitchen is running and the floor is clean. People seem to appreciate having a reliable place to eat in such a busy part of the city. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with fancy lights. We just focus on the food and making sure nobody leaves hungry. It is just a normal local eatery.
