Devina Sood

I am Devina Sood and my place is at 14 Manimajra. It is an old area and the house has its own quirks like doors that don't shut quite right and a roof that makes noise when the birds land on it. I have lived and worked here for a long time. Manimajra has changed a lot since I first arrived, with more shops and more people everywhere. My address is 14 and it is tucked away enough that it stays a little bit quiet compared to the main road. I spend a lot of my time in the front room where the light is the best. I have an old wooden desk that belonged to my father and I use it for everything. There are always piles of paper and some old tea cups sitting around. I don't really have a fancy office setup. It is just a home where I get things done. In the evenings, the street gets busy with people coming back from work and you can hear the kids playing nearby. I like the feeling of being part of the neighborhood. Sometimes the power flickers when there is a storm, but we just light a few candles and wait. It is a slow way of doing things but it suits me fine. I don't feel the need to move somewhere modern when everything I know is right here.
