Skylark Hotel

We have been running Skylark Hotel here in Sector 20 for a good while now. You can find us at SCO/50/C, which is right by the 9th Cross in C Block. It’s a busy part of the city, especially being on Tribune Road. Every morning starts about the same way with people checking out and others coming in looking for a room to stay. We spend a lot of time just keeping things in order. Gayathrinagar is a lively area and there is always something happening outside our doors in 160020. Sometimes the traffic on the road gets a bit much, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t have any fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a straightforward place where people can rest their heads. The staff here knows the neighborhood well. We’ve seen the buildings around us change over the years, but our corner at the 9th Cross stays pretty much the same. It's just a matter of doing the work, making sure the linens are clean, and answering the phone when it rings. We don't try to be something we aren't. If you are walking down Tribune Road, you will see our sign. It's a simple life running a hotel in Chandigarh. We just keep at it day after day, making sure the doors are open and the lights are on for whoever needs a place to stay.
