We are based out of Purusottam Pur in the Balasore district. If you're looking for Sigma Cements Ltd., you’ll find us at the home of Sh. Krutibash Nayak’s son. It's a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't already from the area. We are in the P.O/Via Balaikhand section of the district. It’s a rural spot in Orissa, very different from the big city life in places like Bhubaneswar. The air is cleaner here, though the roads can be a real mess after it rains. We work on the cement business side of things, dealing with orders and transport. It’s hard work and involves a lot of daily coordination with different people. Our office is more of a functional space than anything else. We have maps on the wall and a few old wooden desks. It’s quiet most of the time, except when the trucks are moving nearby. We’ve been part of this community for many years. People know who we are and where to find us if they have questions or need some help. We don’t have a website with fancy photos or a marketing department. We just deal with people face-to-face. It’s an honest way to run a business. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure the supplies get where they need to go on time. It’s a steady pace of life in Balasore. We are just local people working in the industry we know.
