Shalimar Hair Salon

Shalimar Hair Salon is based in Shed No. 42 of the Shed Market in Sector 23C. We are located right opposite the Sanatan Dharam Mandir, which makes us pretty easy to find. It’s a quiet corner of Chandigarh compared to the main roads. We have been running this salon for a long time and it has a very local feel to it. We aren't a big fancy parlor with loud music and air conditioning everywhere. It’s just an honest place where you can get a good haircut. We do everything from simple trims to more modern styles if that's what someone asks for. Kids come here too, and we try to make it easy for them so they don't get scared of the scissors or the sound of the clippers. The shop has a few old-style barber chairs that are still very comfortable to sit in. We spend a lot of our day chatting with the neighbors who stop by just to say hello. Since we are right near the temple, we get a lot of foot traffic every single day. We make sure to sweep the floor after every customer and keep our tools as clean as possible. It’s a simple routine but it works for us. We don’t do any fancy appointments or anything special. You just walk in, wait your turn on the bench, and then go about your day. It’s a small family business and we like it that way.
