We started this place because kids in the neighborhood needed a quiet spot to study away from home distractions. It's on the second floor of SCO 50, right here in Sector 47. Most of the time it's just us and the students working through textbooks. We aren't some big chain or anything. It’s just a regular space with desks and chairs. Some days it gets a bit busy, especially when exams are coming up. We try to keep things organized but it’s a busy place. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much if you aren't used to them, but once you're up here, it’s fine. We’ve been in Chandigarh for a while now. Parents usually come by to ask about timing and what subjects we can help with. We just sit down and talk it out. It isn't fancy. There’s no big reception desk or anything like that. Just some people trying to help students get their homework done and understand their lessons better. We keep the lights on late if someone needs extra time. It’s important that the kids feel like they can actually ask questions without feeling silly. We’ve seen a lot of students pass through these doors over the years. Most of them live nearby, so they just walk over after school. It feels like a part of the community here in Sector 47. We just do our thing every day and hope it helps. It isn't always perfect, but we try our best to keep things moving along for the kids.
