S & M Foods

S & M Foods sits over in Sector 8, specifically in the Sector - 41 D 36 area. It’s a bit of a strange address if you aren't from around here, but we are easy enough to find once you get into the right block. We mostly handle food supplies and some packaged goods. The shop is more of a storage space than a fancy showroom. We have stacks of crates and boxes everywhere. It’s not the most organized looking place, but I know exactly where everything is kept. I started this with a partner a few years back because we saw there wasn't a good place to get these specific items in this part of town. We don't have a lot of walk-in customers looking for a single item; it's usually people buying for their homes or small parties. The air conditioner in the back makes a loud rattling noise, but it keeps things cool enough. I spend a lot of my time on the phone with distributors or checking the expiry dates on the back of the packets. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it keeps the lights on. We don't have a website or anything like that. If people want something, they usually just walk in or give us a call on the landline. It’s a practical business and we like it that way.
