Rajesh Hair Dressor is situated on Chandigarh Road in Kharar, not too far from Gulmohar Heights. Even though our address says Kharar, we actually serve a lot of people from Chandigarh because we’re right on the main road. The shop is pretty easy to spot if you’re driving by the area. We do the standard things you’d expect from a local hair dresser. Cuts, shaves, and the occasional hair dye for those who want to cover their grey. It’s a simple setup with a few chairs and mirrors. The traffic on Chandigarh Road is always heavy, so there’s a lot of noise and dust outside, but we try to keep the inside clean and quiet for our customers. We have been here for a long time now. Most of our regulars are people who live in the nearby apartments or workers heading home in the evening. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or anyone to answer phones all day. You just walk in and if a chair is empty, you sit down. If not, you wait a bit on the bench. We take our time with each person because we want the cut to be right. It’s a small team here, just a couple of us working through the long day. We don’t use any complicated products, just the usual stuff that works well. It’s a practical place for a practical haircut. Nothing more to it than that, really.
