Our campus is out on the Sirhind Highway at Chunni Kalan, quite a bit away from the main city center of Chandigarh. It’s a place where students come to learn and hopefully find a path for their future. We’ve got buildings and classrooms, sure, but it’s the people inside that really matter. It’s not a perfect place—the commute can be long and sometimes the internet acts up because we’re out on the highway. But we do our best with what we have. We offer different courses and try to keep the facilities in working order. You’ll see students hanging out in the common areas or rushing to get to their lectures on time. The staff here are mostly local folks who have been with us for years. We don't try to sound like those big elite universities. We’re just a group of colleges trying to provide a decent education to kids from the surrounding towns and villages. The air is a bit fresher out here than in the middle of the city, which is a nice bonus. We focus on the basics and try to help our students get through their exams and find jobs. It’s a lot of paperwork and administrative stuff every day, but seeing a graduation ceremony makes the effort feel worthwhile. We’re just a practical place for learning on the road to Sirhind. The canteen food is actually not bad once you get used to it.
