Pragati Communication

Pragati Communication is located over in the Manimajra Shree Ram Industrial Estate, right on Old Nagar DAS X Road 830. Being in an industrial area means we see a lot of workers coming in after their shifts. They usually need a quick top-up on their phones or maybe a pair of earphones because theirs broke on the job. The shop is tucked away, but it’s easy enough to find if you know the estate. I’ve been running this place for a few years now. It gets quite dusty around here with all the trucks passing by. I spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases. We keep a stock of basic phones and some smartphones too. It’s mostly about convenience for the people working nearby. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us making sure things run okay. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out. That’s life in the estate. We handle recharges, data packs, and sometimes help people set up their new devices when they’re confused by the settings. It’s a straightforward business. No bells and whistles. We keep the doors open late because that’s when most people are heading home and realize they need something for their phone. It’s a long day, but it’s what we do. The neighborhood is alright, and we’ve made some good friends over time. I really hope the road gets paved properly soon though.
