New Tammana Hair Dresser

You can find us at Both Number 17 in Sector 29D. We are quite close to the Sai Baba Mandir, so that’s usually how I tell people to find the shop. It’s a small space here in Chandigarh. We’ve been here for a bit now, just doing hair for the locals. It’s a typical booth, not very large, but we make it work. I have my mirrors set up and the chairs are older but comfortable enough. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we see a lot of kids and their dads. It gets loud when the kids are around. I usually have some music playing softly in the background. The floor is tile, so it’s easy to sweep, which is good because I do a lot of that. Sector 29 is a nice area, quite lived-in. We don’t have fancy lights or anything like that. Just regular bulbs that do the job. Sometimes the sink leaks a little bit, but I just put a bucket under it. It’s a real shop, not a movie set. People drop in without appointments mostly. They just wait their turn on the bench. I’ve known some of these customers for years. It’s nice to see them grow up and keep coming back to the same booth. Just a small hair dresser shop in a busy part of town.
