Mrb Engineers & Contractors is based in Manimajra, specifically at number 867 in the NAC area. We’re up on the second floor. Manimajra is a bit of a unique spot, and our office reflects that. It’s a straightforward engineering firm. We don’t have fancy signs or a big lobby. When you walk in, you’ll mostly see desks with computers and probably some rolls of blueprints leaning against the walls. We do a lot of contracting work, which means we’re often out of the office visiting different sites around the city. The second floor is where we do all the math and the planning. It’s a small group of us, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. One day you’re looking at an engineering problem, and the next you’re arguing with a supplier about why the materials haven't arrived. We’ve been in Manimajra for a while and most people in the local trade know where to find us. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear regular clothes and talk like normal people. There’s no mission statement on the wall. We just focus on getting the contracts finished so we can move on to the next one. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, and we just take a break and talk. It’s a very human way of working. We’re just local engineers trying to build stuff that stays up and makes sense for the clients who come through our door.
