Our small office is based in House No 400, located right in Sector 38A here in Chandigarh. It is a bit different from the usual commercial buildings because we are in a residential-style house, which makes the whole place feel a lot more relaxed than a cold office block. The streets in this part of the city are usually pretty quiet, except for the occasional fruit vendor passing by or the sound of someone washing their car in the morning. We have a few rooms set up for our daily tasks and a small area where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for when the afternoon slump hits. The garden outside needs a bit of work, to be honest, but it is nice to see some greenery when you look out the window. Working in Chandigarh is good because the roads are wide, though it gets incredibly hot during the summer months and we have to keep the AC running all day long. Sometimes we just sit around and talk about things before starting the actual work. It is just a handful of us here trying to keep things organized. We don't really bother with big signs or anything flashy on the gate. Most people who come here know exactly where to find us. It is just a plain, functional space where we get our engineering solutions sorted out without much fuss or drama.
