Mainland Engineering Corp

We started Mainland Engineering Corp at 2092, Sector 40-C in Chandigarh quite some time back. It is a quiet neighborhood, and our shop fits right in with the other small businesses around here. We spend most of our daylight hours surrounded by tools and metal parts. It isn't a glamorous job, and there is usually a lot of noise coming from our workspace when we are busy with a project. We don't really have a front office with a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and find one of us with grease on our hands. We do a lot of small-scale engineering work, fixing parts or making new ones when someone brings in a sample. The work is steady, though some weeks are much more hectic than others. We like being in Chandigarh because the layout of the city makes it easy to get around to pick up supplies. We don't spend money on big ads because most people in the sector already know where we are. Our team is just a few local guys who have learned the trade over many years of trial and error. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to do the job right so the machines we fix actually stay fixed. It can be a bit dusty and hot in the shop during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and stay focused on the tasks.
