Out here at No 272 Industrial Area Phase I, things are usually pretty loud. We’ve got machines running and people moving stuff around most of the day. The building is part of the Cooperative Housing Society stretch, so we have neighbors doing all sorts of industrial work nearby. It's definitely not a quiet office environment. Our floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or oil patches. We spend our time working on engineering parts and making sure the equipment is doing what it’s supposed to do. It’s a lot of manual work and checking measurements. We don’t have a big reception desk or anything like that here. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us in our work clothes, maybe a bit messy. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The morning starts early because that’s when the work gets done before it gets too hot in the afternoon. We handle different types of metal jobs and fabrication. It’s simple work in a way, but it requires a lot of attention so things don't go wrong. Sometimes we run behind schedule if a machine breaks down, but we just put in the extra hours to catch up. It’s just us doing our jobs in the industrial area. There’s no magic to it, just keeping the machines going and making sure the pieces fit together right. We’ve got a small crew and we all know our roles.
