You can find Modonna Hair Dresser & Beauty Parlour over in Sec-44-D. We are up on the first floor of Sco-355. It is an older building, so it has that bit of character you do not really see in the newer malls. We have been here in Chandigarh for quite some time now. The name on the sign is spelled a bit different, but everyone in the neighborhood knows exactly where we are located. Usually, the morning starts with a lot of sweeping because the dust from the street always finds its way up here through the door. We have a few chairs and some old mirrors that have seen a lot of different faces over the years. The light coming through the front windows is usually pretty good in the afternoon. We do not have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the shears and the thread. It gets busy on Sundays when families are out, so there is often a bit of a wait, but people just sit and chat while they stay. We do not use any of those big marketing words or try to act like we are more than we are. It is just a regular local parlor where you can get your hair done without any stress. The water heater sometimes takes a minute to warm up, and the chairs might squeak a little when you sit down.
