Ministry Of Defence

Our office is located at 166/2 in Sector-45A over in Chandigarh. If you know the area, it is a pretty standard part of the city. We work under the Ministry Of Defence umbrella, but on the ground level, it is mostly about managing documents and keeping track of various administrative duties. The building itself is older and has that typical government look to it. We show up in the morning, deal with the piles of files on our desks, and try to make sure everything is filed where it belongs. Working in Chandigarh is nice because the streets are wide and there are plenty of trees around Sector-45A. Most of the staff here have been around for years, so we all know each other’s habits by now. It isn't a fast-paced environment where things change every five minutes. Instead, we follow the set procedures and take things one step at a time. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud in the summer, and the tea stall nearby is where most of us head during the breaks. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or modern furniture. The chairs are functional and the desks are heavy wood. It is just a regular workplace where people do their jobs and head home to their families when the clock hits five. We handle a lot of logistics and local coordination for the department here.
