Mangal Institute Of Chemistry is situated at Sco 205 in Sector 36 D. This is a well-known area for students in Chandigarh, and we are right in the middle of it. Our space is focused entirely on chemistry. When you walk in, you’ll see rows of benches and a lot of charts on the walls showing the periodic table and chemical structures. It’s a bit of an older building, so the rooms have that classic classroom feel. We don't have any high-tech lab equipment here; it’s mostly for the theory side of things. We go through a lot of markers and dusters every week. The place gets quite busy in the evenings when school lets out. You’ll see students hanging around the entrance or sitting inside waiting for the next session to start. It can get a bit noisy with all the talking, but once the lesson begins, it settles down. We have a small corner where we keep all the extra notes and handouts. It’s not the most modern office, but it works for what we need. Sector 36 is a lively place with plenty of spots to grab a snack nearby, which the students seem to like. We just focus on the syllabus and try to make sure everyone understands the reactions and formulas. It’s a steady routine that hasn’t changed much over the years we’ve been here.
