M R Communications

We’re over at Shop No 2020 in Sector 17. M R Communications is basically a mobile and phone shop. It’s a small space, but we manage to fit a lot of stuff in here. You’ll see recharge cards, some cases, and phones lined up. People come in to get their screens fixed or to ask about a new plan. Sector 17 is always buzzing, so there is always someone walking through the door. It’s not a quiet place. We’ve got the radio playing usually. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a counter and some display glass that needs cleaning more often than it gets. We spend a lot of time looking at tiny screws and circuit boards. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought, and the customer has to wait a bit. That’s just part of it. We don't have a big corporate manual or anything. We just talk to people and try to help them out with their phones. It gets hot in the summer since the shop faces the sun in the afternoon. We have a small fan that does its best. If you’re looking for 2020, just look for the shop with the mobile posters in the window. We’ve been here long enough that most of the local shopkeepers know us by name. It’s a busy life but we enjoy the daily interactions with the people who drop by for a quick fix or a chat.
