Kapur Ice

Over at 82 Industrial Area Phase I, things are usually pretty cold. That’s because we run Kapur Ice, and we’ve been at this location for a long time. It isn't a fancy office or a shop where people come to hang out. It’s more of a warehouse setup where the machines are always humming in the background. We spend our days making blocks of ice and packing bags for whoever needs them. Mostly, it’s local businesses or people throwing big parties who stop by. The floor is usually wet, and it gets pretty loud in here when the crushers are going. We just focus on getting the orders loaded into the trucks as fast as we can so things don't melt in the heat outside. It’s hard work, especially in the summer months when everyone is calling at the same time. Sometimes we get a bit behind, but we do what we can. Our neighbors in the industrial area know us well. It’s not the kind of place you’d visit for the scenery, but if you need ice, we are here doing our thing. The building looks a bit worn down from the outside, but inside, the freezers are working non-stop. We don't spend much time on aesthetics. We just make sure there’s enough supply for the day’s demand. It's just a lot of heavy lifting and keeping the trucks moving.
