Kailash Dairy Farm

You’ll find us at 125 Industrial Area Phase Ii on S C Road. It’s an industrial spot, so it’s not exactly a scenic location. At Kailash Dairy Farm, the day starts much earlier than most people would like. We’re often here when it’s still dark out, getting things ready. There’s a lot of equipment to look after and everything has to be kept very clean, which takes up a lot of our time. It’s a lot of hosing down floors and checking the cooling systems. The smell of fresh dairy is always there. It’s a busy environment with trucks coming in to load up and others arriving with supplies. Our office is just a small room tucked away in the corner of the building. We don't have much time for sitting around. Most of the staff are busy with the actual handling of the products. It’s a physical job and it can be exhausting when it’s hot outside. We have a few delivery drivers who are always in a rush to get their routes started. We don't really have a formal way of doing things, we just know what needs to happen to get the milk and other items out. It's a lot of repetitive tasks, but they are necessary. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a steady one. It gets pretty loud once all the machines start up in the morning.
