Indira Hair Weaving & Beauty Centre

Indira Hair Weaving & Beauty Centre is up on the second floor of SCO-24 in Sector 20D. Being near Labour Chownk means there is always a lot of noise and movement outside, but once you walk up those stairs, it gets a little quieter. We have been in Chandigarh for a long time now. The focus here is mostly on hair weaving and basic beauty services. It is not a very big space, but we have made it work. The walls have a few posters of different hairstyles, some of which are quite old now. We use regular chairs and the lighting is okay, though we sometimes have to move a lamp around to see the weaving work better. It’s a bit of a climb to get to us, so it is mostly people who specifically know we are here. We don't get many random people just walking in from the street. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming for years. We do things like facials and threading too, but the weaving is what keeps us busy. We don't use any fancy machines or big marketing tricks. It is just a few of us working with our hands. We try to keep the place clean, but with hair work, there is always a bit of a mess to tidy up. It’s a honest local business in a busy part of town.
