Indira Gift Shop

Indira Gift Shop has been sitting here in Sector 34 for a lot of years. Being in this part of town means we deal with a lot of students and people coming for coaching classes. It gets pretty busy in the afternoons when everyone is out and about. We keep a lot of different things, mostly stuff that people need for a quick gift or something for their rooms. It’s not a fancy place by any means. The shelves are a bit old and we sometimes have boxes stacked in the corners when the delivery comes, but it works for us. We try to keep a mix of things like stationery, little statues, and some wall hangings. My family has been managing the shop, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the sector. Sometimes it’s quiet and we just sit and watch the traffic go by, and other times three people want help at the same time. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just know we are here. If you walk past the main market area, you’ll see our sign. It’s a bit faded from the sun, but it’s still there. We keep things simple and try to be helpful when someone can’t decide what to buy. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep things going day by day. We appreciate the people who keep coming back after all this time.
